The building, designed by Moshe Safdie and opened to the public in 2006, features over 7,500 square feet of gallery space for major traveling exhibitions of contemporary art and installations of works from the permanent collection. The Jepson Center for the Arts is home to ArtZeum—a unique, 3,500-square foot interactive gallery for children and families.
The Arts & Entertainment Tour includes admission to the renowned Telfair Museum of Art which offers three unique buildings: the Jepson Center for the Arts, Telfair Academy, and Owens-Thomas House. In addition to a gift with purchase at the Jepson Center at the Arts Museum Store, this tour offers a one-of-a-kind "movie set location" tour of Savannah.
